You describe what's going on. I ask the questions that actually matter — equipment, symptoms, what you've already tried.
Based on what I hear, I give you a price range or flat rate. Nothing vague. If I can't commit to a number yet, I tell you why and what I need to see first.
No pressure. If the quote works for you, we schedule. If it doesn't, no hard feelings. The call is always free.
If I get on site and find something that changes the scope, I stop and tell you before doing anything extra. You always approve costs before I run them.
